Captain Shiverclawe

Ivan Shiverclawe was born on Earth in October of 2383. As a youth, all his friends called him by his last name, thinking it was cool. Shiverclawe was in to aviation, and all aspects of flying from a young age, being fed stories from his grandfather about how fun and exciting it was to fly planes, and ships. Stories of being a Captain of a Starfleet Material Supply Command ship put visions and dreams in to a young Shiverclawe child.

D&D 5e Character Bio

Built in a village of ice wizards for protecting the village from monsters and raiders. After a natural disaster caused by a young wizard, Shiver was the only surviving being from the village.

After about 200 years of watching over the ice wizard village, and watching its demise, the living construct made its way out of the village with a cloak bearing the crest of the village on its back.

Sorry, Not Sorry.

To the people that sent me hate messages. This letter is written with anger. Just so you know.

ArcaniA

I bought a Humble Bundle package just for this game. I won't lie. And I bought the pay $10 or more to get the extra games as well.

As it turns out... It got put on PS4. So guess what I own on PS4 now, and guess which I'm further on? If your answers were ArcaniA, and PS4; in that order, you are correct.

Anyways, I'm having fun with it so.. Yea. tehehe. Back to it.

Windows 10, thus far.

The desktop rotation, with option to cycle the menu colours to accent the background is an amazing idea.
I've only had one 'severe' problem, and it turned out to be with the graphics card probably. The resolution and the screen weren't matching up, and I had to downscale the image in the GPU settings.

Shadow Wars

This is the story, tragedy, and appearance of Raven Shiverclawe, and Shade Ironfang.

This story will mainly follow Raven Shiverclawe through his life. Jumping to and from Shade Ironfang on occasion.

With recent reappearance of Avril!

This story is a Pardus Fan fiction of a player's character, and how they progressed through the game. Its not official fiction of the game, nor should it be considered so.

Welcome!

This wasnt a planned clean install. I forgot to backup the SQL info when I had a server problem, and lost it all. Sorry!

Development Log

I've restructured the majority of my server for public access. Instead of all the code being able to be accessed directly by the front user, I've moved it out of vision by putting it up several levels, and over a bit.

I had 3 or 4 "mini" sites working off of the same PHP structure, but each had the content copied to its own root folder, when I could have it set up so that they each shared the core frame, and had its own application subdirectory. Which is what is set up now.

Linode hosted now.

The blog (this site) is still hosted by Code A Life.
The www.cmdproj.net domain (And all sub domains, and all things related) have been moved to its own server that I now pay for.

This gives me a bit of space to grow my projects out, while not wasting the host's space on their server. It'll allow me to expand outward to other programming languages, such as Ruby On Rails, Python, Perl, and other languages.

List of projects.

Digimon Collection.
Step Project.
RPGMaker VX: Ace (Scrapped?)
Torque 3D (Replacing RPGMaker?)

Digimon! (And other things)

So the small things first. I've opened up the files to my game, Step Project, and realized it was set up amazingly, though no comments. So when I get the time, I'm going to comment it all, so I can understand it better.

Things of life.

That website I was asked to build for the guild, I built. Though cheaply done, it serves what was wanted of it. I will rebuild it at some point, to be far more secure than it is currently.

I think I'm going to give teh Torque Engine, the game development engine for games in C++ / C# / C type language. It now supports Open Source, and web UI right out of the box. The web-ui is what I am most interested in with the engine, it means I can upload a game, and let it run, with out having to have people download it, install it, and all that fun stuff.

DDoS Website

I was asked to build a website for the guild, and I'm working it slowly.

I bought a PS-Vita a few days ago, and I'm actually loving it. I got it set up so that I can play a few games from my PS3 on it through the network, or through the internet (though this is untested)

DDoS Info Center

its goinge great! Woo!

Err, the pardus tools are on hold, i owed this work to Goddess before starting that project. So I'm doing it for her.

I got a computer up and running that can play games. Namely, Guild Wars, one and two.

Pardus mini Script!

This script will give the number of full ticks the building will be able to hold, with out overflowing, and dumping some of it into space.

It can also calculate the amount of capacity required a specific amount of ticks.

Link to tool when done.

Oops.

Seems I forgot to post my blog this morning. Oh well.

Anyways, I got the computer tower, and the hard drive.
The case is shit, the side clips that hold it onto the side, bend really easy. There is hardly any cable management, in fact it looks like it doesnt exist. But for the price, why can I bitch?

The hard drive, came as a bare drive, as like the dvd-burner. So I have to get cables for it probably.

Amazon update.

Orientation on Tuesday, at 7:30. I move shift to back half. Meaning Wednesday to Saturday.

Otherwise, not much is going on. Thanks for reading!

Mobo, RAM, DVD_Drive

Yesterday, I got the motherboard, the dvd-drive, and the ram for my computer that I want to build. I guess I didnt read the description to the DVD drive to well, as it came as bare drive, no cables. Oh well. Its part of learning, right?
The motherboard came in a box, DVD, instruction book, sticker badge, and a single cable.
The ram came as a stick of ram. Box, plastic sleeve, ram. Thats it!

Wait a week to get the case, and hard drive, and to order the processor, and the power supply

Cheap Computer Build

I ordered teh parts to a cheap computer, that its main purpose is to give me the computer building experience for the system I really want to build. So that I have at least a little bit of experience building a system.

DDoS Project

Yesterday, I got asked by my Guild Master, to set up a spread sheet for AstroEmpires ID, In-Game Nick, Warp Level, Fleet Type, Skype, Yahoo, Windows Live, AOL/AIM, eMail, and phone number.

I got it done in about 30 minutes. Would have been done sooner, but there was a bit of a problem in the database names, and the database insert script.

She can now add people how she wants, edit them if needed, and delete them should they decide to leave the guild.

Ninjas EDH now Ninjas Singleton and other stuffs.

The deck I listed in an earlier blog post, the Ninjas EDH (also below) was changed from an Elder Dragon Highlander to Singleton.
http://cmd276.codealife.com/index.php?q=node/4616

It is now a 100 card deck, unlike that link above.

Pardus Economy Dependency Calculator

I've added in all the building inputs to the database.
I now need to add all the building outputs.
A long with all the building construction requirements, the energy, metal, and such to build the initial building.

I think I will also put in the database the amounts for each upgrade, up production level 30. As for this, though, I'm not completely sure that I want to do this, I may just stick with the formula that I have, and put it in the script.

building info

production := round (basevalue * (1 + 0.5*(level-1)))
upkeep := round (basevalue * (1 + 0.4*(level-1)))

Constants and Variables:

basevalue: [REF:Buildings]
level: Production level of building

Examples:

Space Farm with production level 7:

Pardus Utility: Economy Dependency Calculator

I know almost no one that reads this, plays Pardus. But I'll put it out there anyways.

I am hoping that by this Tuesday, I can get started on this project. It will take a building (Or a group of buildings) and chart out the dependencies of the chain, even mapping out the dependencies of the dependents.

I am hoping with people who play the game, and their feed back, I should get this up and going (at least project outline) going this Tuesday. It may prove entirely useful to some people, while others it may be completely useless.

Sprinklers

I should actually be outside trying to fix the broken sprinkler system that my step dad thinks he fixed.

Now instead of sprinkler line #3 staying on, its line #4. Which didn't have a problem before fixing it. And the valves had to be changed, so nothing should be sticking open (as far as the valves go)

Amazon Interview

At 5:09 PM, my time, I got an email for a job interview at amazon fulfillment center. Interview on May 22nd 2013. I've been there for over 9 months now. I have more badges than most managers combined probably. Not to mention, I know how to do most of the jobs at my level, and a few jobs above my level.

Mom was in the hospital due to stress, and a special and rare migraine caused by stress, and high body temps. This migraine produces the effects of a stroke. Slurred speech, blurry vision, and pain in parts of the body.

5.12.2013

Work week over. they asked if I had interest in the 1 PM to 9.30 PM shift, though it means changing from Inbound to Outbound, I requested to be noted as having interest for such a shift. The shift means that I will be working 5 days instead of 4 days, and working 8 hours per day, rather than 10 hours per.

Its my weekend now. I'm going to see about a project idea, then make it, if it doesnt already exist. It'll be a Economy Calculator.

hmm

Ordered, and got all of it within like 4 days of ordering, while shipping orders said 6-8 days. How awesome. It was cards for my Ninja EDH / Singleton deck.

Considering I had Mandatory Over Time this last tuesday, I did not get any work done on my dungeon game. Or the tutorial rounds either... It has a good number of tutorials that you can do for it, and I wanted to do those, but I haven't yet. Well, I did a few of them.
